Delivered by the Colbourne Institute for Inclusive Leadership, this interactive workshop provides practical strategies to recognize, respond to, and prevent hate while strengthening safer, more inclusive communities. Through scenarios and case studies, you’ll build confidence in recognizing hate and taking meaningful action when it occurs. You’ll leave with practical tools you can apply immediately to foster belonging and support safer environments in your workplace and community. What you’ll learn The difference between hate crimes and hate incidents, and how they show up in everyday life. How to address digital hate and online harassment, with a focus on supporting women and gender-diverse people. Skills to lead anti-hate interventions and build resilience in your community. Trauma-informed approaches to support safe, healthy environments.
