Edmonton'\;s crime severity recently hit a five-year low\, \;but property crime is up\, \;and for \;many business owners\, \;perception \;hasn'\;t \;caught up to the numbers. Our members are spending real dollars on security\, lighting\, and protective measures to manage challenges that require coordinated municipal\, provincial\, and federal responses\, alongside a strong social-services \;safety net.
