The Edmonton Public Library’s (EPL) biggest night of the year has a new name and a brand-new chapter just waiting to be written.
Introducing Storytime Soirée, a special evening celebrating everything that makes the Library extraordinary, with great food, live music, and fun, hands-on experiences that bring the magic of EPL to life!
Join fellow library lovers, community champions, and supporters from across Edmonton for an unforgettable night of connection, celebration and meaningful impact.
Help a New Summer Story Begin
Did you know that kids can lose up to two months of learning over the summer? The “summer slide” makes it harder for children to catch up when school starts again. For many families in our community, finding an affordable way to keep kids engaged and learning is a real challenge.
That’s why this year’s Storytime Soirée will support EPL’s Cook Up a Story, a new summer camp for kids aged 9 to 11 from socially vulnerable families.
This exciting summer camp, hosted at the Stanley A. Milner Library, provides kids ages 9 to 11 the opportunity to keep on learning during the summer months. The camp offers a fun, hands-on learning experience with activities like reading, writing, cooking, gaming, and crafting.
Thanks to your support, kids can explore new interests, stay engaged, and build confidence—all at no cost to their families.
