Description
In 2017, the Economist published a story titled “The world’s most valuable resource is no longer oil, but data.” At the time, this was seen as controversial, but since then, energy companies around the world have applied AI to drive efficiencies, minimize environmental impact, and improve profitability. However, a significant amount of work is required to turn data from an untapped resource into something that drives value to the business.
In this session, you will hear from a nationally recognized data science firm who works with Alberta’s largest organizations to turn data from hard drives, sensors, and cameras into AI solutions that drive real-world results.
You will learn the difference between AI and ML, what makes a good use case (and what makes a bad one), where companies start when considering how to tackle an AI Strategy, and some of the real-world applications that have driven value in our own backyard, here in Edmonton.

All are welcome as we help translate the buzzwords and jargon into language that will resonate with business leaders, project managers, heads of operations and the C-suite alike.
Please confirm your attendance by Tuesday, September 21, @ 4:00 PM. This webinar event will be hosted via Zoom, and a unique link will be emailed to all registrants 12-24 hours prior to this event.
