On Thursday, November 23 from 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM, The Today Centre is hosting its 3rd Annual Help Today, Hope Tomorrow Fundraising Breakfast at Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites. This year's theme is 'Disrupting the Stigma', focusing on how we can and why we should, disrupt our perceptions and assumptions about the realities of what it looks like to be a victim-survivor of family violence, especially after leaving the situation. Our keynote speaker is Deena Kordt, Divorce Magazine Canada's owner and publisher who will be tackling the conversation in relation to her own 30+ year experience as a victim of abuse. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, some 'stigma-busting' entertainment with comedian Donna Lynne Erickson, an exclusive 5-item silent auction with some fabulous packages, and more!
