Join us in the spirit of the holidays for Family Night at Zoominescence presented by Alberta Blue Cross! Open to all members and their families, this spectacular exhibition illuminates the Edmonton Valley Zoo with the magic of holiday lights and light installations from local artists.
 
As a family, enjoy exclusive access to the zoo’s furry inhabitants underneath a canopy of colourful lights. Through the evening’s featured animal talks (otters, seals and reindeers), get closer to these ‘locals’ as you learn more about their unique characteristics and behaviors from their zoo care team. With Children’s Entertainment presented by DynaLIFE, enjoy a trip down the ice slide or strap on your ice skates as the fun continues with a skating rink beneath the winter lights!  And be sure to warm up and connect with fellow members and their families with a complimentary glass of hot chocolate and mint marshmallow cookies, courtesy of The Westin Edmonton, in the zoo’s glowing igloo.

As a winter attraction, this event will proceed through snowy and cold weather conditions; therefore, please dress appropriately. Skating rink and ice slide are subject to weather related closures. Ice skates will not be provided; if your family is interested in skating, please bring your ice skates.
