Description
Edmonton, AB – Veterans’ House Canada (VHC) invites media and community members to the official
launch of the In Uniform Campaign, a striking public activation designed to challenge perceptions and spark conversation about veteran homelessness.
At the event, VHC will unveil the In Uniform campaign: a military uniform encased in glass, bearing the
message “Someone who wore this uniform slept here last night.” Following the media conference, the
installation will be placed in outdoor, high-traffic locations across Edmonton for two weekends, confronting the public with the reality of veteran homelessness in spaces where it cannot be ignored. As people encounter the activation, their responses will be documented, reinforcing the urgent need for permanent housing solutions for Canada’s veterans.
