Description
A special exhibit in the lobby of the Yardbird Suite Community Gallery consisting of photos taken over the last few years by Michelle Lori. A mix of black & white, color photography and a series of black, red and white acrylic pieces of women artists. Some of the acrylic pieces are of 2-Time JUNO Winner OKAN. OKAN is a Toronto-based Cuban band led by violinist, vocalist, and composer Elizabeth Rodriguez, and percussionist, vocalist, and composer Magdelys Savigne.
Artist Reception on Tuesday - May 6th from 6-8 pm.
Free May 6th - Tuesday Night Jam at 8 pm hosted by Joel Jeschke.
Exhibit Dates: May 2nd - June 29th, 2025.
This exhibit can be viewed prior to all performances at the Yardbird Suite.

Michelle will be donating some of the proceeds to the Edmonton Jazz Society/Yardbird Suite as it is a charitable organization run by volunteers. She too volunteers, and is on the Board of Directors: always trying to promote music, art and culture in Edmonton.
