Description
A boom in business transitions is coming up in Canada. According to BDC research, 450,000 businesses will change hands over the next few years. There is no better time than now to evaluate buying or selling a business. Acquiring a business can help entrepreneurs and businesses scale up and to take on competition and break into new markets.
Co-led by Steven Dokken, BDC and Rob Heron, KRP, this workshop will explore why buy or sell a business. On the buyer’s side you will learn of the benefits of acquiring a business; the top challenges of buying a business; and steps to structure a successful acquisition. For business sellers, you will learn what your business is worth; how to get top dollar for your business; and tax implications for the sale of a business.
