    AI has been compared to electricity in terms of how it will transform the way business is conducted across nearly every domain. Some organizations might undertake AI projects directly as part of their digital transformation strategy. Others will encounter AI as part of their supply chain through smart-enabled devices or software as a service. Regardless of how your organization intersects with AI, there are several issues you should be aware of as you decide how AI fits into your business.  
 
Using AI responsibility means: 
Katrina Ingram is the CEO of Ethically Aligned AI, a social enterprise focused on helping organizations drive better outcomes in the design, development and deployment of AI systems. Her passion for the arts, education, media and technology is reflected in her diverse career that traverses the tech and media sectors. She spent over a decade working in public broadcasting in management roles at CBC and CKUA and helped found the Alberta Podcast Network in 2017. In 2020, she completed a master’s degree with research in applied ethics for AI. Katrina hosts the AI4Society Dialogues podcast and co-authored the new PowerED by Athabasca University AI ethics certification micro-credential - the first of its kind in Canada.
