The 2nd Annual Electronics Drop Off and BBQ

The Edmonton Chamber is proud to partner with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and First General Services again, for our second annual Electronics Drop Off and BBQ.  Join us Friday, August 5, 2022, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the First General Services parking lot (16850 109 Avenue NW) to help you safely and securely destroy or recycle your outdated electronic devices.  This is a FREE electronics shredding and recycling event for local consumers and businesses which benefits non-profit agencies through an environmentally sustainable solution!

And while you're onsite, you can enjoy a complimentary BBQ courtesy of the First General Services!

Protect yourself from cyber theft by properly disposing of your unwanted electronics (computers, laptops, cell phones, gaming consoles, printers and tablets) at this event.  All items will be data cleaned by the ERA team, then refurbished before being donated to organizations in need of second-hand technology.  A powerful hard drive shredder will also be onsite so you can have your data destroyed FREE of charge.  Please remove your hard drive before the event if you would like to watch the ERA team shred your device onsite.  Any hard drives still intact will need to be professionally removed before they can be shredded.
