PALS - Project Adult Literacy Society is seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of adult education. Your leadership can break cycles of poverty, open doors to employment, and empower adults with the essential skills they need to thrive.

For over 45 years, PALS has been a leader in adult literacy education, providing free, high-quality programs in:

? Math & Trades Readiness
?? English Language Learning for Immigrants
?? Digital Literacy

Our dedicated volunteers and community partners help us serve hundreds of learners each year, creating a ripple effect that strengthens families, workplaces, and the economy.

Who We Need
We are looking for visionary leaders who are committed to education and social change. If you have experience in any of the following areas, we encourage you to apply:
?? Non-Profit Governance
?? Fundraising & Grant Writing
?? Finance & Accounting
?? Human Resources & Employment Law
?? Marketing & Communications
?? Community Engagement & Partnerships

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a governance board, strong leadership and teamwork skills, a passion for equity and inclusion, and an interest in advocating for literacy education at the community and policy levels.  We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who believe in the power of literacy to transform lives and communities.

Your Commitment & Impact
?? Meetings: 10 times per year (virtual or in-person)
?? Term: Minimum of 3 years
?? Additional Engagement: Serve on committees to drive our mission forward
