Inspired by missing opportunities to network, take a mental health break, learn, connect with friends, etc. due to lack of childcare, co-founders Shannae Delancy & Nathoya Smith launched Care in a Pinch Inc. Care in a Pinch Inc provides tailored on-site childcare services that reduce stress on event attendees and that ensure they get the most out of what is being offered. Our service is available across Alberta and we can set up a safe and engaging space at almost any event imaginable, enabling greater event accessibility and engagement. We have set up at weddings, workshops, conferences, galas, classes, open houses, career fairs, corporate & private get togethers, trade shows, meetings, networking events, etc.

Care in a Pinch makes parent inclusion easy for organizations by providing the following: a room size guide, safety checklist, event specific registration link and a price matrix. Our service includes providing a vetted team of childcare providers, toys, arts & crafts, and individual & group activities. We also handle all parent inquiries related to the service.
