About Us

Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation is a charity for charities. We're leading the way in innovation for the non-profit/charitable sector by creating a shared space home for social and human services organizations to maximize efficiencies, minimize expenses, and promote collaboration through proximity. The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit is a 93,000 square foot professional centre for 25 local charities and non-profits including 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, ABC Head Start Society, WECAN Food Basket Society, Christmas Bureau Edmonton, and Canadian Hard of Hearing Edmonton Branch. The Centre opened in fall of 2018 and remains at capacity in both office and warehouse space. Our partner organizations do not pay rent, they only pay their proportionate share of operating costs saving most organizations up to 43% in operatiional expenses. This means more of their funds can be reinvested in their organizations to improve or expand programming and reach more people in need. An estimated 100,000 Albertans are reached by the programs and services provided by the organizations that call the Jerry Forbes Centre home.
