Founded and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta since 2019, Canadian Imperial Advantage (CIA) is a not-for-profit that is committed to empowering the Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities in Alberta with business support services and access to capital through capacity building workshops and networking event. CIA is also one of the six organizations approved by the Government of Canada to advance the black business ecosystem in Western Canada; and has since facilitated value-accretive capital and advisory support to over 250 entrepreneurs.
