Since 1962, the ECAA has represented electrical contractors in a variety of manners. We provide many services for our members such as representation on various industry boards, labour negotiations, seminars for specialized applications and management skills, industry meetings and conventions. We work to develop electrical apprentices through Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) as well as administer a range of professional designations including the Professional Electrical Contractors (PEC), the Registered Master Electrician (RME), and the Certified Master Electrician (CME) designations. ECAA also helps members work through challenges with inspection authorities and general contractors.
