enCompass Community Safety Agency (formerly Edmonton John Howard Society) has been serving the Edmonton area since 1949, with a proud history of supporting those who have been affected by crime and social disorder. To this day, we remain committed to helping individuals reintegrate from justice and related systems, creating safe and vibrant communities. enCompass provides holistic services and wraparound supports that address the root causes of crime and social disorder. We do this through preventative and restorative activities including release planning, housing, safety planning, employment transition, education, substance recovery, cultural supports and more. We build safe and inclusive communities by supporting individuals to navigate change – and lead healthy, meaningful lives.
