Safety Ahead was founded in Edmonton in 2007 by Allan Head, NCSO, CHSC — a COR Auditor with 48+ years of cross-industry field experience across Alberta construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, and trades since 1978. In recognition of his contributions to apprenticeship and education in Alberta, Allan was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal by the Government of Alberta in 2005.

Safety Ahead provides safety consulting and fractional safety management for Alberta businesses — helping you respond properly to OHS orders, get organized for COR audits, and build safety systems that work in the field, not just on paper. The team has built and audited more than 100 safety programs across Alberta, and every COR engagement Safety Ahead has prepared or coached, where the client team acted on the corrective-action plan, has passed audit.

We support COR certification, audits, recertification, and Limited Scope Audits (LSA), along with OHS contact reports, compliance orders, and stop-work or stop-use orders.
