NAIT Entrepreneurship & Innovation Summer Co-op Program for Summer 2027 Info Session

Description

I'm excited to invite employers, entrepreneurs, startups, nonprofits, and organizations across Alberta to learn more about the NAIT Entrepreneurship & Innovation Summer Co-op Program for Summer 2027.

Our goal is to scale the program to support approximately 20 Edmonton-area businesses while providing students with meaningful, hands-on entrepreneurial and innovation experiences.  

Through the program, motivated NAIT students can contribute to projects such as:

- Market Research & Customer Discovery 

- Business Development & Growth Initiatives 

- Process Improvement & Automation 

- Strategic Planning

- Innovation & Prototype Development - Research, Analysis &Recommendations 

Students are supported through a structured internship experience focused on entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, project management, and real-world business impact.

During this session, you'll learn: 

• How the Summer Co-op Program works 

• Benefits of hosting a NAIT student 

• Examples of student project opportunities 

• Employer expectations and timelines • How your organization can participate in Summer 2027 

We're also looking for feedback from employers. Your input will help us better understand employer needs and create strong student-employer matches.
