Occupational Therapy Assistant

Occupational Therapy Assistant

We’re Hiring: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

 📍 Edmonton, AB | Part-time/Full-time

At Abilities Occupational Therapy Inc., we help people live safely, independently, and confidently. From driving assessments to rehab planning, our work makes a meaningful impact in our community—and we’re looking for someone to help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. This role is a great fit for someone who is working toward their OT license, studying in the field, or hoping to grow into a future Occupational Therapist role.

💡 What you’ll do:

  • Support our OTs by drafting and formatting reports (training will be provided).
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and help manage client scheduling.
  • Organize calendars and coordinate appointments.
  • Keep client records and invoicing accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with day-to-day office operations and client communications.

💡 What we’re looking for:

  • Strong writing and organizational skills—you’re comfortable drafting Occupational Therapy reports and managing details.
  • A friendly, professional communicator (on the phone, over email, and in person).
  • Someone reliable, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
  • Interest in Occupational Therapy—whether you’re in school working toward your license.
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, email, scheduling tools).

💡 Why you’ll love working with us:

  • Flexible hours to fit your schedule.
  • A supportive and welcoming small team.
  • Hands-on experience in a clinical setting—great for future OT students or new graduates.
  • Competitive pay and room for growth.
  • The chance to learn directly from experienced Occupational Therapists.

If you’re passionate about organization, enjoy helping people, and want to grow your career in occupational therapy, we’d love to hear from you!
