Tip of Spear Academy is an Edmonton-based professional protection education provider serving Alberta since 2011. More than 25,000 students have completed training through our security, investigation, public safety, personal protection, and professional development programs.

We deliver government-accredited professional protection education, including Alberta Basic Security Training, Alberta Investigator Training, peace officer recertification, tactical communications and de-escalation, first aid, firearms safety, and IKMF Krav Maga self-defence programs.

Our mission is to help individuals and organizations build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and decision-making abilities needed to work safely, protect others, and respond effectively in challenging environments.
